KETTLEMAN CITY – According to CHP, a fatal head-on collision, in which 2 big rigs were involved, closed southbound Interstate 5, just south of Highway 41.
The accident happened around 2:41 p.m. when 1 truck going northbound reportedly crossed the center divider and struck the other truck.
The roadway was closed for some time while safety officials cleared debris from the accident spot, reported by the California Highway Patrol. Public was advised to use alternate routes and passages for travelling while the highway was closed.
