On Friday afternoon, a California man suffered serious injuries to his chest, from a boat propeller, in an incident that took place near Copper Canyon, but now he is in stable condition.
According to Lake Havasu City Fire Department Battalion Chief, James Whitt, a fire department boat brought the 24-year-old man to Contact Point from where he was rushed to the Havasu Regional Medical Center on an ambulance.
Medics at the HRMC succeeded in bringing the victim into stable condition, said Whitt. On Friday evening, the man was being prepared to be transferred to a Las Vegas hospital on a helicopter to receive further treatment.
